Download straight from Microsoft, install and unlock with product key. Seems right to me.

The price for a Visual Studio Professional license alone is far below its normal standalone pricing. But with the bundle, Python, SQL, JavaScript, Flutter, OpenCV, ChatGPT fundamentals, Salesforce, Ruby on Rails, and more, what more could one ask for? Even if 2-3 of the courses are decent, you're getting your money's worth, however. Now to find the time to TRY to learn all that.... I'd say 8/10 for what I got.

Been using Visual Studio since the very first .NET release, and I’ve seen it improve year after year while using it in a work capacity. VS2026 is the best release so far, and feels a lot snappier and faster than the previous releases. While AI does get pushed a bit too hard to my liking, it’s easy enough to ignore it if you don’t want to use it. And at this price, you would be a fool not to buy it. It simply is the best IDE out there for .NET developers.
